At Taskroad, Inc. (“Taskroad,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we highly value the privacy of our users. Our platform provides logistics management software and route optimization tools for enterprises (collectively, our “Customers”) to facilitate the delivery of goods and services to others (“Recipients”). This Privacy Notice (“Notice”) outlines how we gather, use, disclose, and process personal information, as well as the rights and choices available to you with regard to your information. Additionally, we describe how you can get in touch with us, and how we protect your personal information.

Access or use the products, services, and related applications offered by Taskroad, engage directly with us, or use third party partners, products, or interfaces that employ Taskroad technology, including our web-based and mobile applications, (collectively, the “Services”) as a Customer, Recipient, driver, or dispatcher (collectively “Authorized Users”) to:
1. Handle and accept deliveries;
2. Allocate and delegate assignments to drivers;
3. Streamline deliveries and itineraries;
4. Communicate with drivers and Recipients;
5. Evaluate delivery statistics and driver input.

3. Engage with us through various means, such as registering for, participating in, or attending our events, workshops, or online presentations (collectively, “Marketing Activities”).

1. About Taskroad Products and Services

Taskroad provides logistics management software and route optimization solutions for enterprises that specialize in last-mile delivery. Our mobile and web-based applications offer Customers communication tools, route planning optimization, automated task assignments, and delivery metrics and feedback.

Information We Collect

The information we collect is dependent on your interactions with us, the choices you make, the products and features you use, your location, and applicable laws. In some instances, we receive information directly from you, such as your name and email address when you or your organization sign up for our Services. In other cases, we receive information through your use of our Services, such as tasks completed by drivers and driver vehicle routes.

1. Information You Provide Directly to Us
We collect the following information when you use our Sites and Services.

. Contact information – We collect your contact details when you utilize, inquire about, or purchase our Services or engage in our Marketing Activities. This information includes your full name, email address, and phone number.
.Professional information – We collect professional details about you, such as your company name, company website, and industry.


.Account information – We gather information about your Taskroad account, such as email address, password, User ID, date of account creation, and details for Services purchased or subscribed to. You supply this information to us directly during the account registration process, and when you log into the Services for the first time, we automatically receive this information.


. Transactional information – We collect payment and other transactional information related to our Services, such as hashed payment card values and billing address.


. Delivery and logistics information – Through specific features in our Services, we collect information related to delivery and logistics. This information includes the vehicle type, delivery region or city, delivery product type, delivery time windows, monthly delivery volume, and any other delivery logistics that you choose to provide when engaging with our driver job board.


. Marketing information – We collect information that you provide when interacting with our Marketing Activities, such as through form submissions, email communications, or phone calls to inquire about Taskroad and our Services. Additionally, We gather data on individuals who visit our offices, which includes their name, visit date and time, reason for visit, and additional visitor screening and registration data.we collect information that you provide when participating in a survey, virtually or in-person at an event, or via a phone call with one of our sales or customer support representatives (such as the nature of your communication, your contact preferences, and any information you choose to provide to us when completing any “free text” boxes in our forms).


.Office visitor information .We gather data on individuals who visit our offices, which includes their name, visit date and time,

reason for visit, and additional visitor screening and registration data.

.Social Media Features. When Social Media Features, such as the Twitter “Tweet” button and other sharing widgets, are hosted directly on our Site, we obtain information about you. Your use of Social Media Features is managed by the privacy and user policies of the companies that provide them, and we are not liable for how those companies collect, utilize, or share your data. We recommend that you read the privacy statements of those businesses before using or connecting to their Social Media Features to learn more about their privacy methods.

Troubleshooting and support information. We collect information regarding your account preferences or data you provide when you contact us for help, such as the solution you use, the content of chats and other communications with Taskroad, and other details that assist us in providing support. If our application crashes, we may log in to the program remotely with your permission to resolve the problem.

We also obtain any data you voluntarily provide to us, such as when you submit a message through our support portal (e.g., the contents of a message or attachments that you send to us), upload a profile picture, or provide feedback on your delivery experience.

Information Collected by Taskroad
At Taskroad, we collect various types of information from different sources to ensure that we provide you with the best possible service. We understand the importance of privacy and limit our use of personal information to the purposes outlined in this notice.

 

Here are the different types of information we collect:

Information from Third Parties – We receive information about customers and authorized users from third-party providers or partners that offer services or support our business operations. This information is limited to what is necessary for us to provide our services to you. Examples of this type of information include organization details, order and delivery information, and contact details for marketing activities.

Information from Customers – We receive information about authorized users from our customers. This information includes contact details such as full name and email address when a customer invites you to use our services or designates you as an authorized user on their account.

Automatically Collected Information – We automatically collect or receive certain information about you, your device, and your usage of our site and services when you use or interact with Taskroad. This information includes usage details, device information, driver behavioral and delivery fulfillment information, geolocation information, application usage information, and anonymized statistical information.

At Taskroad, we take your privacy seriously and only collect information that is necessary for us to provide you with our services. We do not share your personal information with any third-party providers unless required by law or for business operations purposes.

Information Collected Automatically

When you interact with Taskroad’s Sites and Services, certain information about you, your device, and how you use our Site and Services is automatically collected or received by us. This information may include:

1.Usage data – We gather data about your usage and actions on our Taskroad platform. This data includes information about your browser settings, frequency of use, timestamps, language preferences, device activity (such as system activity, hardware settings, and application versions), and the amount of time you spend on our mobile application or website. We also collect information about how you engage with our services, marketing activities, and website (such as clicks, scrolls, mouse movements, internal links, pages visited, searches, page loading times, download errors, and time and date stamps associated with your usage). In addition, we may collect request data (such as speed, frequency, the page you linked to us from, the website you visit after ours, and information about other websites you have recently visited, as well as the type of web browser used).

2. Device information – At Taskroad, we gather details about your device whenever you access or use our Sites and Services. This information may comprise your device type, operating system, IP address, location, Internet service provider, mobile network, system configuration, model, model number, push notification tokens, and unique device identifiers like your device ID.


3. Information related to driver behavior and delivery completion – We gather data on how drivers operate their vehicles and complete delivery requests, including traffic flow, vehicle velocity, and delivery precision, as well as assigned responsibilities, task performance, mobile device power status, and driver availability (e.g., active or inactive).


4. Location information – In some Services, we may use GPS or other sensor technology to collect precise geographic location data of your vehicle or you. This location data helps us identify and analyze vehicle trips, including the routes taken, time and date of travel, speed, altitude, and travel direction. We may also use this data to estimate drive times and derive insights from it, such as average speeds. Please note that we do not access, collect, or store location information from a driver’s mobile device when they are offline or off-duty.


5. Information about how you use our application – We collect data on how you use our application to provide support and enhance our Services. This data includes crash reports and usage analytics, even when drivers are not online or are not actively fulfilling delivery requests but are using the chat feature.


6. Aggregate usage information – We collect aggregated and de-identified information about how you use our Sites and Services for market research and to improve our machine learning models. This may include anonymized statistical data about user behavior, preferences, and trends.

Certain information collected through our Services, either alone or in combination with other data, may potentially identify you personally. For example, some optional features enabled by the Customer may involve collecting photos of a package recipient’s delivery as proof of delivery. We collect this information at the request of our Customers and under their direction, as well as on behalf of our Customers depending on the specific Services provided.

Taskroad utilizes the collected information in the following manners:

1.Contact you regarding our Services – We utilize your personal data to provide you access to and facilitate your usage of our Services. This includes communicating with you through email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app notifications for technical notifications, security alerts, updates, and administrative and support messages.
2. Deliver our Sites and Services – We use the information we collect to ensure the proper operation of our Sites and to deliver our Services to you. This includes managing and maintaining the Services, facilitating deliveries, and fulfilling Customer orders. We do not use Recipient data for any other purposes beyond the provision of our Services.
3. Enable and improve necessary features – We utilize your information to enable essential features that are required during your interaction with our Sites and Services. We also examine how our Customers, dispatchers, and drivers use our Sites and Services to offer and enhance necessary features, develop new functionalities, and enhance the quality and user experience. For instance, we collect and analyze geolocation and driver vehicle data to improve our route optimization capabilities.
4. Transactional purposes – We utilize your information to fulfill transactions and provide you with related information, such as purchase confirmations, receipts, invoices, recall notifications, and surveys related to your experience as a customer.
5. Taskroad utilizes your information to handle your contact and support requests by communicating with you via email, chat, or phone. Our employees are restricted from viewing the content of your imported data in your Taskroad account, except when necessary to address your support inquiries. Our access to your data is limited to the minimum amount necessary to resolve your support issues.
6. Taskroad uses Customer, dispatcher, and driver personal information to analyze usage and trends, and to personalize and improve our marketing activities. We also use this information to provide content and features that align with your interests and preferences, as well as to customize your experience with our Services. 7. Send promotional communications – We may use your personal information for promotional purposes based on your preferences. This includes communicating with you via email, SMS, surveys, newsletters, promotions, trainings, or events that we believe may interest you or provide you with news or information about Taskroad and/or our selected partners. Please see the “Your Privacy Choices and Rights” section below to learn how to manage your communication preferences.
8. Ensure the security of our Sites and Services – We use your information to investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access to the Services, and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.

We share personal information with third parties only when necessary, and we put appropriate measures and agreements in place to ensure its protection. The following are examples of when we may share personal information:

1. Customers.
Taskroad may share information with its Customers and Authorized Users when using certain Services. For instance, if a driver interacts with a dispatcher during a delivery, we may share the driver’s details (such as name and phone number) with that dispatcher. When you register or access our Services through an Taskroad Customer, certain information about you, including your name, contact information, photograph, and past use of your account, may become accessible to that Customer and other individuals with whom the Customer shares access. If you are a Customer managing a specific group of Authorized Users within our Services, such as dispatchers and drivers, we may share your contact information with current or past Authorized Users to facilitate Services-related requests. We share this information only on a need-to-know basis and with appropriate safeguards and contractual arrangements in place.


2.Third-Party Service Providers
We work with a variety of third-party service providers to help us operate and deliver our Services. These service providers may need to access your personal information in order to perform their services for us. These third-party service providers include:

.Professional services advisors, such as lawyers, accountants, and consultants, who help us protect and manage our business interests.
.Billing and payment providers who help us authorize, record, settle, and clear transactions.
.Cloud hosting providers who provide data storage and processing services for us.
.Customer support providers who help us respond to and resolve customer inquiries and support requests.

Taskroad takes steps to protect personal information in accordance with applicable law. These steps may include requesting protective orders or confidentiality agreements, redacting personal information from documents before disclosure, or using other legally permissible means to safeguard personal information.

4. Corporate Affiliates
In the event of a corporate transaction, such as a merger, sale of assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business, Taskroad may share or transfer your information to any person or entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with Taskroad, including our Corporate Affiliates. Any personal information shared with our Corporate Affiliates will be subject to the same terms and protections as outlined in this Notice. Your personal information may be included as part of the transferred assets. We may notify you of any changes in ownership or control through email or other appropriate means.


5. Corporate Partners
Taskroad works with a variety of partners, including third-party advertising networks, driver delivery networks, and integration services providers, to support our Services. To fulfill our obligations and provide you with the best possible experience, we may share personal information with these partners, such as Recipient contact information and driver behavioral information. Taskroad uses cookies and other tracking technologies to collect technical information about your device or browser when you visit our Sites or interact with our Marketing Activities. This information may include web beacons and other similar technologies. For more details about our use of cookies and how to manage them, please refer to our Cookie Notice.
Taskroad stores your information using data hosting service providers based in the United States, and takes reasonable technical measures to ensure that the information is secure. In order to provide our Services, we may need to transfer, process, or store your personal information outside of your country of residence. This means that your information may be subject to different data protection laws than those in the country where you provided the information. Taskroad keeps Customer information for the duration required to comply with legal and contractual obligations, support business operations, develop Sites and Services, resolve disputes, enforce rights, and for legitimate business purposes as stated in this Notice, as well as per industry standards.

How We Protect Your Information
We take the security of your information seriously and implement reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorized access, modification, destruction, or theft. These measures include administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, as well as requiring third-party service providers to adhere to industry standards. However, we cannot guarantee that your information will always remain secure due to unforeseen circumstances. Opt-out of marketing communications: There are various ways to opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us, including:


E-Mail: If you wish to stop receiving marketing communications from us, you can do so by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link found in every email we send or by contacting us through the channels provided in the “Contact Us” section. Please note that if you are a Customer and opt out of marketing messages, you will still receive transactional communications related to our Services.
SMS:If you have enabled SMS communications for certain features within our Services, you may choose to opt-out of receiving SMS messages by following the opt-out process described in the SMS communications. However, please note that if you opt-out of receiving SMS messages, you will still receive transactional communications from us regarding our Services.

You have the option to manage your account preferences by logging into your account or contacting us at privacy@taskroad.pro. This includes the ability to update and correct certain account information. If you choose to delete your account, please contact us at the same email address privacy@taskroad.pro with your account information. Please note that certain information may be retained in accordance with legal requirements or our legitimate business purposes.

Push notifications. To opt-out of receiving push notifications on your mobile device, you can adjust your device settings. However, please be aware that disabling push notifications may affect the functionality of our Services on your device.

Mobile application information: If you want to prevent Taskroad from collecting information from the mobile application, you can uninstall the application using the standard uninstall processes on your mobile device or through the mobile application marketplace or network. However, please be aware that if you uninstall the mobile application, it may affect our ability to provide you with Services.

Taskroad’s Sites and Services are intended for users who are of legal age to consent to the processing of their personal information in their jurisdiction, and are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
